Lt. Colonel Charles Olsgaard, Retired recently passed away in October 2018, but he absolutely LOVED HeartSprings Tremble Clef Choir! He used to sing in musical theater and the choir, under Michelle Gelinske's direction gave him an opportunity to sing even when his voice wasn't like it used to be due to his Parkinson's disease. Plus the choir provided him and his wife friendships with others in the choir providing a tight knit community of singers dealing with the same thing. "Use your voice!," he said. And even at the end he was able to sing through every verse of his favorite hymns. Blessed be his memory! Thanks Chuck for your good humor and stories!
