Focus System

Focus System is a clinical intervention used to improve brain function through brain and body integration via multi-sensory input.

Since 2013, HeartSprings has been a leader in bringing this technology to the FM Area. They were the first in the world, to trial this system with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.

Pictured are our ‘test pilots’ back in the fall of 2013.

The Focus System provides specially-treated music combined with fun activities to activate brain networks to improve balance, coordination, cognition, attention, and multi-tasking.  This translates into being a better conversationalist, driver, having better concentration, improving reading, and carrying out complex tasks such as cooking and driving.

And with the flexibility of 60-minute or 30-minute sessions, it’s easy to implement in the office, or at home.

We have used the Focus system mainly with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and those with concussions.

But, we believe any neurological challenge can benefit from the Focus.
